Former Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officer member of country's 13th Finance Commission, Sanjiv Misra joined the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) as a public interest director.
A master in public administration from Harvard University and Ph.D from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, Mishra has worked in the ministry of finance, ministry of petroleum and Cabinet Secretariat.
Prior to joining the Finance Commission Misra was secretary to the Government of India, Department of Expenditure and the Department of Disinvestment.
