Helpchat, a chat-based personal assistant app, has appointed Deena Jacob as its new chief financial officer. Jacob was the former CFO of TaxiForSure, an app-based cab aggregator service acquired by Ola in March.
Helpchat, formerly Akosha, helps users get things done from getting comparisons of smartphones in a particular price range to travel booking and holiday guidance. Helpchat has a strength of more than 600 people.
“Adding Deena to the executive leadership team as chief financial officer is sure to set the company ahead to deliver the future of messaging. Her experience at TFS, especially running a multi-city 80 people finance team, would come in handy for Helpchat," said Ankur Singla, founder and chief executive officer of Helpchat.
