Fortis board approves appointment of four nominees of IHH Healthcare

The board of directors of Fortis Healthcare on Tuesday approved the appointment of four nominees of IHH Healthcare in Fortis' board.

The board also approved the allotment of Rs 230 million equity shares through preferential issue to Northern TK Ventures, which is the wholly-owned subsidiary of IHH Healthcare in India. They have been issued at Rs 170 per share. IHH Healthcare's Managing Director Tan See Leng, CFO Low Soon Teck, Head of strategy and planning in IHH Chan Boon Kheng, and Bhagat Chintamani Anniruddha have been brought into the Fortis Healthcare board.
