Fortis Healthcare ties up with Aashlok Hospital

The hospital has been substantially upgraded with addition of new operation theatres, infrastructure and medical specialties

Fortis Healthcare today added its eighth medical facility in the NCR region as it entered into a tie up with south Delhi based Aashlok Hospital.

The 30-bed hospital has been substantially upgraded with addition of new operation theatres, infrastructure and medical specialties.

Commenting on the development, Fortis Healthcare CEO Aditya Vij said: "This union of Aashlok Hospital and Fortis will be able to expand and personalise the concept of holistic medicine and at the same time provide wider services at Aashlok through the recent upgrades which we have taken".

The group has also modernised the operation theater and installed modern state of the art equipments at the hospital, he added.
 

"We will benefit from the expertise of Fortis in running the hospital alongwith expertise of so many specialists that would be available to us," Aashlok Hospital founding doctor Ashwani Chopra said.

The patients of Aashlok would get multiple specialities under the Fortis umbrella. Now some services as gynecology which were not offered earlier, would now be available and complex cases would be helped by our specialists, Vij said.

"Our specialists would be coming to Aashlok for OPD as well and their complex cases would be moved to our hospitals," he said.

Fortis is currently operating 66 healthcare facilities with 10,000 beds in India, Singapore, Dubai, Mauritius and Sri Lanka.
