Fortis Malar Hospitals net profit rises 142%

Fortis Malar Hospitals, part of Fortis Healthcare, posted an increase of 142.24 per cent in its net profit at Rs 2.7 crore for the quarter ended June 30, against Rs 1.11 crore for the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The net income stood at Rs 24.25 crore for the quarter, compared with Rs 22.04 crore a year earlier, an increase of 10 per cent.
