Fortis Healthcare today reported a net profit of Rs 10.06 crore for the second quarter ended September, compared with a loss of Rs 15.23 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income for the quarter stood at Rs 167 crore, against Rs 129 crore in the same quarter last year, the company said in a statement.
"Our growth in occupancies and revenues with focus on efficiencies and cost control has led to better performance during the quarter and year to date," Fortis Healthcare CEO and MD Shivinder M Singh said.
EBIDTA for the quarter stood at Rs 30 crore, up 191 per cent over the corresponding quarter last year, it said.
