Foyr.com (formerly Renderlogy), a Hyderabad-based technology start-up in the interior design and home décor space, has launched its operations in Pune.

With this launch, Foyr has brought together over 50 local brands and more than 2,500 product listings on a single platform for Puneites.

“With the Pune launch, Foyr has doubled its local presence and it aims to be live in 10 Indian cities in the next 18 months,” Shailesh Goswami, founder and chief executive officer, said on Tuesday.

According to Goswami, Foyr looks to tap into the Pune market, 60 per cent of which largely constitutes people between the 24 and 35 years age group.

"With the next-gen opting for designer homes but unaware of the places to source the elements from, Foyr addresses this need gap by collaborating with a network of local stores to provide a platform of curated yet affordable home décor items," he added.

According to a Technopak survey, the market size for home decor (furniture and hard furnishings combined) in India has been estimated to reach at $30 billion by 2020 from the present $20 billion.
