Franchise Ltd started its operations in Punjab on Friday. The firm plans to open 8-10 food courts in the state by the end of this year. It has identified cities like Jalandhar, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Patiala, and Sirsa, for opening new outlets. |
Speaking to Business Standard, Gaurav Maurya, president of Club City Hospitality, said, "We booked the Ansal plaza multiplex space around one and half year back. We will be opening two more food courts in Ludhiana. Investment for each food court is between Rs 15-20 lakh." The company has identified more locations in Jalandhar, Amritsar, Chandigarh and Patiala and Sirsa. |

Sonya Chowdhry, market development and franchise support manager, Club City Hospitality said the company's outlets served around 104 types of dosa, of which 27 were patented. |
"With the all-new concept of fun-dining, our products are competitively priced to cater to the middle class. We plan to have over 200 outlets. We want to make all our brands operational by 2006. The people in Punjab are fond of food, and like for south-Indian dishes. This is the reason we want to have our presence here." |

Since its establishment in mid 2005,Club City Hospitality has successfully launched its outlets in Mumbai, Karnal, Hyderabad, Delhi, Lucknow, Baroda and Kolkata. |
It recently a launched 24-hour food court at the Calangute beach, Goa. The firm is also gearing up to open branches in other destinations. |
The company, if allowed, will also open a 24-hour food court in Punjab. |
