A one-day seminar on 'Transformational leadership and inspirational entrepreneurship' will be organised by Future Competency, a skill-sharing organisation, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci), in Hyderabad on July 4.

The seminar will help entrepreneurs realise their ideas and help start-up companies in solving their problems in marketing their brand. Around 80 participants are expected to attend the seminar.

“The major problem in Indian start-ups and small and the medium enterprises (SMEs) is the lack of sales and marketing skills. They are not aggressive when it comes to marketing themselves and their companies on social media,” Jeff Slayter, international speaker and business strategist, said here on Tuesday.

“In India, the entrepreneurs should feel comfortable in taking emotional risks first than taking financial risks,” he added.

Jeff Slayter and Kane Minkus, known as financial gurus, have so far trained over 50,000 entrepreneurs worldwide and have managed close to $100 million of investment capital for investors.
