Pantaloons and Big Bazaar, the lifestyle and value retail formats owned by the Future Group, expect a 30 per cent rise in footfalls and sales at its stores across Orissa during its month-long shopping festival beginning Saturday.
Addressing media persons here, Sanjeev Todi, area manager (operations), Future Group said, “We are expecting a pan-India footfall of three crore during this year's shopping festival as against a footfall of 2.5 crore which we achieved last year during the same festival. In Orissa, we are expecting a 35 per cent growth in footfall at the Pantaloons as well as Big Bazaar outlets.” Future Group on Friday announced its 'The Great Indian Shopping Festival' in the city. This month-long festival which will continue till May 16, would have exciting offers, contests, prizes and entertainment for its customers across India. Each retail format of the Future Group will have its own special offer and activities planned for the customers, giving them variety and entertainment. This shopping fest is a combination of offers on over 1000 brands.
