Gail to invest Rs 3,000cr in FY07

Gail India is planning to invest Rs 2,500-3,000 crore next fiscal in laying pipelines and expanding capacity of its petrochemical plant.

The major pipeline projects to be implemnted next fiscal include the Dahej-Uran pipeline and  the dabhol-Panvel pipeline, Gail CMD P Banerjee said today.

He added that the company will invest Rs 700 crore in expanding the capacity of its Pata petrochemcial plant in Uttar Pradesh from 3,10,000 tonne per annum to 4,50,000 tpa by December.
