Gamesa bags 40 MW wind power project of ReNew Power

The turnkey project is scheduled to be commissioned in March, 2016

Renewable energy firm Gamesa today has bagged an order for 40 MW wind power project of Independent Power Producer (IPP) company ReNew Power Ventures Pvt Ltd.

The turnkey project is scheduled to be commissioned in March, 2016. As part of the agreement, Gamesa will be supplying 20 G97-2.0 MW T-104m turbines for installation at Lingsagur site in the state of Karnataka, India. This is ReNew Power's third project in the State of Karnataka with close to 70 MW of operational wind capacity portfolio.

Gamesa has already commissioned 102.65 MW for ReNew Power across Maharashtra and Karnataka. Over the past 12 years Gamesa has installed over 20,000 MW of the 2.0 MW platform, one of the most reliable turbines in the market, in 34 countries.

 

ReNew Power has been developing solar and wind power projects and currently has more than 1300 MW of commissioned and under-construction wind and solar energy projects in its portfolio.
