Gammon India Ltd has acquired 50 per cent stake in Italy based Sofinter SpA.
The acquisition was done through the company's offshore step down subsidiary.
Sofinter SpA, which is the holding company of Italy based Ansaldo caldaie SpA, manufactures super critical boilers.
