Ganesh Guruswamy to head design operations of SanDisk in India

Will look after the development of SanDisk's next-generation consumer storage solutions

Consumer and enterprise flash memory storage solutions firm SanDisk Corporation has appointed Ganesh Guruswamy as the vice president and head of design operations for the company's design centre in Bangalore. 
 
He will look after the development of SanDisk’s next-generation consumer storage solutions, including USB flash drives, memory cards, microSD cards, and other removable flash-based products. Guruswamy, who was earlier vice president and India country manager at Freescale Semiconductor will report to SanDisk’s senior vice president of corporate engineering Jeff VerHeul. 
 
OnMobile appoints Sanjay Bhambri as chief commercial officer
 
Telecom value-added service provider OnMobile Global Ltd has appointed Sanjay Bhambri as the company's chief commercial officer. Bhambri, who has earlier led the company's entry into the Asia Pacific and Middle East region and was also responsible for its India Operators for a short while. In his new role, Bhambri will "be the global Client Facing Unit head for the company and will lead teams in Emerging markets, LATAM, Europe & North America," the company said in a statement. 
 
“I am very excited to take on this new role. OnMobile is currently present in 59 countries across the globe and I look forward to helping OnMobile firmly establish itself as the global leader in the Mobile Services space by maximizing revenues from our current footprint and expand this footprint further. We shall, as always, endeavor to deliver superior value to our customers and strive to increase revenue generation by partnering with them effectively and pro-actively,” Bhambri said.
