Garry Kingshott to join Jet

Jet Airways today announced the appointment of Garry Kingshott, an Australian national, as the chief commercial officer from March 2006.

"Kingshott, who brings to Jet over 31 years of corporate experience with ten years in the airline industry, will oversee areas of marketing and sales, commercial, airport services and all aspects of customer service," an official release said today.

Peter Luethi, chief operating officer of Jet, will be retiring at the end of his three-year contract in April.

The release said the company did not propose to fill the position of chief operating officer following Luethi's retirement.
