Gary Steel steps down as Chairman of ABB India

Frank Duggan has been appointed as non-executive Director, as a replacement for Gary Steel

ABB India Limited today announced changes in the Board of Directors. At a meeting held today the company announced resignation of Gary Steel as Director and Chairman of the Board with effect from October 28, 2014. Frank Duggan has been appointed as non-executive Director, as a replacement for Gary Steel.

Gary joined the board of ABB India on February 20, 2009.

Further, Frank Duggan, has also been appointed as Chairman of the Board of the company with immediate effect. Frank is the President of Global Markets and Region Manager, India, Middle East and Africa. He is also a member of Executive Committee of the ABB Group.

 

Peter Leupp has resigned as Director of the Board at the conclusion of today's board meeting, with effect from October 28, 2014.

Tarak Mehta has been appointed as non-executive Director, as a replacement for Peter Leupp. Peter has served on the ABB India board since July 26, 2007. Tarak Mehta is Executive Vice President, Global Head of Low Voltage Products division and also a member of Executive Committee of ABB Group, the company said in a statement.
