Geometric Ltd, a leader in product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions and technologies, has appointed Digitek as its authorised reseller of its design for manufacturability product, DFMPro in Korea. Digitek will distribute DFMPro and will provide world class customer support to customers in Korea.
DFMPro is a novel, automated design for manufacturing (DFM) review tool, that facilitates upstream manufacturability validation and identification of areas of design that are difficult, expensive or impossible to manufacture. It allows quick and in-depth examination of product manufacturability through advanced design rules for manufacturing processes like milling, drilling, turning, sheet metal fabrication, and injection molding. Working with most CAD platforms, DFMPro is useful tool for design engineers to create manufacturable design.
