Geometric, Mumbai based technologies and solution provider for product life cycle management, said that it had signed a contract with Ford Motor Company to provide production support and software maintenance work.
“Ford is a strategic customer for us,” said Ravi Gopinath, managing director and and chief executive officer of Geometric, in a notice to Bombay Stock Exchange.
Geometric has been working for Ford Motor for last six years and it currently has a team of about 100 engineers at Ford’s facility in the USA and its technology services centre in India.
“Our new development centre in Chennai will address Ford’s quick ramp up demands, as well as host all the necessary training programs for the engagement,” said Chakravarthy Kolli, delivery head of Geometric’s Chennai operations.
