FEAL GmBH, a consortium of five German companies having expertise in steel and metallurgical industries, have started operations in India.
The German parent opened its first overseas office here as a subsidiary, FEAL Tech Private Limited.
FEAL Tech Managing Director D Mukherjee said today the five companies were LASE, 3tn, Ortmann, Rath and Klein Automation.
He told reporters that the company would provide specialised solutions to the booming steel industry in India.
Mukherjee said the company has initiated talks with steel majors like SAIL, Essar, JSW, Jindal Steel & Power among others.
