German'y SEA Group enters India with Rs 14-cr investment

The company targets to take project in association with large builders mainly through franchisee route

SEA Group of Germany, the world’s fifth largest living space solution provider, has entered into India with an initial investment of Rs 14 crore. The investment, however, is set to go up to Rs 40 crore in two years.

Aiming to take project in association with large builders mainly through franchisee route, SEA offers world class services including creative, durable and high quality home interiors’ solutions to end consumers and corporate clients.

“Our wide range of products such as kitchens, dining, bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobes, lighting, home automation and many more, which are manufactured and assembled in Germany and Europe, as a complete one stop solution for individual and creative lifestyles,” said Alex Sofalvi, Managing Director, SEA Group.
 

While SEA Group has long experiences in German, European and Indian markets, it has now teamed up with leading manufacturers in Europe like Bauformat Kitchens to bring this freedom of life to India and then to the entire South-East-Asian region.

The Group expects to achieve a turnover of Rs 180 crore by 2016.

Sofalvi further said that through “SEA expanding horizons” in creativity of individualized solutions for living spaces, the SEA Group is determined to cross the limited barriers in lifestyle choices, in terms of affordability, creativity and service.

With the introduction of the SEA Future Labs, SEA is offering a platform to integrate German and Indian designers to develop with their customers new ideas and introduce new market trends.
