GHCL posts 18% profit increase
 
Gujarat Heavy Chemicals (GHCL), a Dalmia group company, has posted a 18 per cent increase in profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 at Rs 33.14 crore against Rs 28.12 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. The PAT for the 15-month period ended March 2007 went up by 23 per cent to Rs 148.09 crore against Rs 120.10 crore for the 15-month period ended March 2006.
 
Pennar net up 168% to Rs 7.59 crore
 
Pennar Industries net profit increased by 168 per cent crore at Rs 7.59 crore during the quarter ended March 2007, compared with Rs 2.83 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. The company's sales during the quarter grew 30 per cent to Rs 152.60 crore from Rs 117.74 crore in the year-ago period.
 
Nucleus Software Q4 net jumps 28%
 
Banking software solutions provider Nucleus Software today reported a 27.98 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 13.95 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31 against Rs 10.90 crore for the same period a year ago.Revenues for the January-March quarter stood at Rs 60.16 crore, up by 42.93 per cent over Rs 42.09 crore registered in the corresponding quarter of 2006, a company statement said.
