Gilead joins hands with Indian companies

The US-based Gilead Sciences has joined hands with Indian Pharma majors such as Ranbaxy Laboratories, Mylan Laboratories and Strides Arcolab for promoting access to low-cost generic versions of Gilead’s HIV medicine (FTC) in developing countries. Under the new agreements Gilead will provide a technology transfer for manufacturing the drug.
