Fast-moving consumer goods firm Gillette India on Friday reported over threefold jump in its net profit at Rs 31 crore for the third quarter ended March, 2015.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 8.5 crore for the same period of the previous year, Gillette India said.
Net sales increased by 8.4 per cent during the January-March quarter to Rs 493.7 crore, against Rs 455 crore in the same period last year.

Revenue from the grooming segment stood at Rs 355.4 crore in the quarter against Rs 324.7 crore in the corresponding period of last year.
Revenue from the portable power segment increased to Rs 22 crore in the quarter from Rs 21 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
While, revenue from the oral care segment stood at Rs 117 crore against Rs 110 crore in the year-ago period.
Gillette India shares closed 1.5 per cent down at Rs 4,539 apiece on the BSE.
