Glaxo Consumer Q3 net up 13% at Rs 60 crore

GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare today posted a 13 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 60.02 crore for the third quarter ended September 30, over the same period a year earlier.

Total income of the company rose to Rs 510.27 crore during the July-September quarter of the current financial year from Rs 436.50 crore of the corresponding quarter last financial year, GlaxoSmithkline Consumer said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

For the nine-month ended September 30, the food products maker posted a net profit of Rs 199.10 crore, up 28 per cent from Rs 155.75 crore registered in the same period previous year.

 

Shares of GlaxoSmithkline Consumer were trading at Rs 1,241.10, up 1.72 per cent in the late afternoon trade on the BSE.
