Glenmark Pharmaceuticals plans to introduce a new form of its two valdecoxib (used in pain management) brands, Valus and Vorth.
It will replace the tablet form of the medicines with an orally dissolving form. The company will, however, offer the new drug forms at the same price as earlier.
