Global Vectra denies operating helicopters for private use

Global Vectra Helicorp today refuted media reports which said that the company was operating helicopters for private use. In an official statement issued to the BSE,  it said that it completely abides by non-scheduled operators permit as per civil aviation regulations in India.

Global Vectar's helicopters are used for commercial purposes by India largest corporations operating in oil &gas  exploration and production sector. Its offshore air logistics services are used by ONGC, Reliance, BG among others.

According to non-scheduled operator's permit, the permit holders of aircraft or helicopter can only be used for commercil activity. The commercial terms could be either per seat hiring or full aircraft charter depending on the need of the client.
