Globus opens store in Lucknow

Globus, the specialist chain of fashion stores by the Rajan Raheja Group, has opened its first store at Waves East End Mall in Lucknow last week.

With a fleet of 13 existing stores spread over other key metros in India, Globus plans to add 1 million square feet of retail space through its pan India presence, in the near future.

Talking to Business Standard, Vinay Nadkarni, chief executive officer of Globus Stores Pvt Ltd, said, "Uttar Pradesh is special to us as this will be our fourth store in the state following the two at Ghaziabad and one in Kanpur. The reception that we have got from the youth of the state have given us the confidence to plan two more stores before Diwali and look for many more."
