Globus to open Lucknow store

Globus, the specialist chain of fashion stores by the Rajan Raheja Group, is set to launch its first store in Lucknow.

With 13 stores in other key metros in India, Globus plans to add 1 million sq ft of retail space through its pan India presence, in the near future.

After Lucknow, Globus is planning to bring its outlets in Varanasi, Hyderabad and Noida.

Since Lucknow is one of the most attractive and important markets in India today, Globus's marketing and expansion plans for Lucknow are aggressive as well. With the opening of its first store in Lucknow, Globus looks at establishing itself as the finest fashion destination for the youth in the city", said Vinay Nadkarni (CEO of Globus Stores).

After Lucknow, Globus is planning to bring its outlets in Varanasi, Hyderabad and Noida.

Organized retailing in India is approx Rs 35,000 crores which is roughly about 3.5% of total retail in the country. Keeping this in mind, Globus has put Lucknow next on its agenda of Brand footprint with the store sizes varying approximately 10000 sq ft area.
