GM announces exchange plans for Opel brands

General Motors (GM) today announced an exchange programme for owners of the Opel Astra and the Corsa. GM has discontinued manufacturing  the two Opel brands in India in 2003.

Under the exchange programme an Opel owner could exchange his old car for a new Chevrolet brand. The exchange would depend on the condition of the car and the year of manufacture. The offer is valid for a specified time.

The exchange scheme includes free accessories worth Rs 10,000 given by the dealer.
