Gm Hopes To Break Even This Year

Responding to growing sales numbers, General Motors India (GMI) has commenced second shift operations at its plant at Halol in Gujarat on July 9 and expects to break-even this year as well.

The plant has a capacity to produce 25,000 cars per annum on a two-shift basis.

The company hopes to double its sales to 18,000 cars in the current year from last year
