At the launch of the new Chevrolet Tavera Neo 2 today, General Motors announced it will launch an all new mini compact global car in 2010 which will complement the Spark and the UVA which are currently available in the Chevrolet stable.
In addition, GM's Chevy Volt - an electric car, will be launched in the country next year. The car major which has invested $ 1 billion, will invested an additionl $ 500 million over the next seven years.
With the expansion of its manufacturing facilities, GM has also indicated plans to export cars from India in the future.
