The Awards Governing Council (AGC) of the Goafest has withdrawn the Abby-winning print ad for Electrolux Washing Machines from the awards. This follows a probe and voting by jurors of the print category, where the ad in question had bagged a Silver Abby.
This is the third recall in a week since Goafest concluded on April 6.
On Monday, Leo Burnett, which walked away with the highest number of metals dramatically withdrew two radio spots for Tata Salt Lite folllowing a debate at the AGC that it was not legitimately released. This brought down Leo Burnett's tally from 71 to 67 and also saw production house Lingo lose its solitary gold that it bagged for one of the spots.

BBDO Proximity was the next on the list losing two golds and a silver it bagged for a print and outdoor campaign for DHL. The ad was said to be a lift of a campaign for furniture removalist Allied Pickfords done by Ogilvy & Mather, Singapore.
Voting by jurors in the outdoor category for DDB's Electrolux ad is yet to be completed. DDB had bagged a silver for the ad in the category.
