GoAir will shift its operations in Mumbai to terminal 1A from July 1 and will use check-in counters and office space surrendered by Kingfisher Airlines.

GoAir currently operates 360 movements per week from Mumbai from terminal 1B. A dedicated aisle of check-in counters at terminal 1A shall now be available for GoAir passengers.

The airline will be also moving its ticketing office to the new premises, the airline announced today.

Kingfisher stopped operations last October and the check-in counter space in terminal 1A remained unused. Last December Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL) had served a notice on Kingfisher to surrender space and pay Rs 22 crore in dues.
