Godrej Aadhaar, HDFC Bk sign deal for agri loans

Godrej Aadhaar, the agri services-cum-retail initiative of Godrej Agrovet,  has signed a deal with HDFC Bank to offer agri credit facilities through its rural hubs.

Aadhaar customers can, through this venture, avail of banking services and loans on a preferential rate. They can also avail credit in the form of cash and term loans after the assessment of their land holding and cropping patterns. Farmers will be offered loans for mechanisation needs like tractors, combine harvesters and other agri-related implements.
