Announcing the launch of the soap, Dr Rakesh K Sinha, vice-president (soaps), Godrej Consumer Products, said, "Product offerings under the Cinthol brand have always been based on a deep understanding of consumer needs. Body odour is a common problem faced by everyone today. Cinthol's new deo soap tackles this issue with a unique long lasting deo formula. The TCC ingredient removes odour causing bacteria keeping the user fresh and confident all the way." |
Godrej officials said that the initial market reaction had been very positive to the launch and the product had hit shelves a week back across the country. |
"We expect a strong growth in volumes with the launch of this product and expect to capture a five per cent market share in the next three years," they said. |
