Godrej Lifespace plans two more stores in Nashik

Godrej Lifespace, the retailing arm of Godrej and Boyce Manufacturing Co Limited, plans to open two more 'Home & Interiors' stores in Nashik in the next one-and-a-half year, at an investment of around Rs 1 crore.
 
The company opened its first store in the city on Tuesday at an investment of Rs 45 lakh. At present, it operates 55 exclusive 'Home & and Interiors' stores across the country, with a total carpet area of 1.4-lakh sft.
 
Speaking to Business Standard, Shyam Motwani, vice-president and business head, Godrej Lifespace, said the company was in the process of identifying suitable locations for its new stores in Nashik.
 
"Each store will have floor space of around 4,000 sft," he added.
