Nature’s Basket,  a gourmet food retailing chain from the Godrej group, is expected to achieve break-even during the current financial year, said group executive director and chief brand officer Tanya Dubash.

Nature’s Basket was initially launched to retail fruits and  vegetables in 2005. It was positioned as a gourmet food chain in 2008. It currently has 33 stores across cities  like Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore.

“Our plan is to expand the chain across other metros in due course,” she said, adding Nature’s Basket was right now considering tying up with ecommerce sites Amazon and Snapdeal.

Dubash was in Hyderabad on Tuesday to take part in an interactive session on ‘Successful brand positioning and the brands that rise and get going’ organised by the Hyderabad chapter of Ficci Ladies Organisation.

Speaking to mediapersons on the sidelines, Dubash said the Godrej group, as part of its masterbrand strategy, was now working on version 2.0 of its integrated campaign ‘Ideas that make life brighter’.

The group’s brand campaign 2013 has Bollywood actor Aamir Khan as its ambassador.

“The version 2.0 of our campaign,  which will have a new face replacing Aamir, will be rolled out around this Diwali promoting a whole new set of products from Godrej's stable,” Dubash said.
