Goldstone Q4 net up 272% |
Hyderabad-based Goldstone Technologies reported 272.9 per cent jump in net profit at Rs 2.14 crore for the quarter ended March 2007, compared with Rs 54 lakh in the corresponding quarter for the previous year. However, the company's net sales rose by 14.5 per cent to Rs 8.85 crore during the three-month period compared with Rs 7.73 crore in the corresponding previous quarter. Steep decrease of liability under the head of depreciation and other writeoffs to Rs 21.7 lakh, from Rs 1.13 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year, combined with an increase in sales income contributed to the growth of net profit. |
For the full financial year ending March 2007, the company made a net profit of Rs 7.67 crore, an increase of 1,099 per cent compared with Rs 64 lakh in the previous year. The company's net sales for the year increased by 17.5 per cent at Rs 41 crore compared with Rs 34.9 crore in the previous year. |

Following the listing of its equity shares on the stock exchange in November 2006, Info Edge (India) "" with brands like naukri.com and others "" reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 10.13 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007, and revenues of Rs 47.29 crore. A comparitive figure for the quarter ended March 31, 2006 is not available due to the recent listing. For the full year, its net profit grew 104 per cent and stood at Rs 27.08 crore from Rs 13.29 crore for the 2005-06. Its revenue was Rs 147.16 crore, an increase of 75 per cent from Rs 84.05 crore for the last financial year. The company's EBITDA at Rs 44.12 crore grew by 86 per cent from last year. As part of its expansion plans, the spending on staff increased by 76 per cent to Rs 49.23 crore from Rs 28.04 crore for the same period last year, primarily due to additional head counts for new business lines and senior level hiring. |
KSL Realty Q4 net dips 20% |
KSL Realty and Infrastructure (KSL) posted a net profit decline of 20 per cent at Rs 5.48 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007, compared with Rs 6.83 crore posted in the same quarter last year. The decrease was due to higher depreciation charges on account of its expansion and modernisation plans. However, it has reported an increase of 35.78 per cent in net sales at Rs 137.34 crore during the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2007, against Rs 101.15 crore posted during the same quarter in the previous year. |
