Granules India Ltd, which is into manufacture of pharmaceutials, reported over three-fold rise in net profit at Rs 21.8 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013, as against Rs 5.8 crore for the corresponding period last year.
Net sales during the quarter were up 45 per cent rise at Rs 284.1 crore, compared with Rs 195.2 crore last year. Ebitda was up 140 per cent at Rs 45.5 crore, as against Rs 19 crore in the previous fiscal. The growth was driven by strong performance across all manufacturing units, including the formulation facility at Gagillapur, near Hyderabad, which continued to scale up the production, the company said in a filing to the BSE.
