Drug firm Granules India today reported 24.96 % decline in net profit at Rs 11.09 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 14.78 crore for the quarter ended march 31, 2102.
Net sales of the company, however, rose to Rs 178.95 crore for the quarter under consideration from Rs 165.42 crore for the corresponding period year ago, Granules India said in a filing to BSE.

Net profit of the company for the year ended March 31, 2013 stood at Rs 30.17 crore as against Rs 27.30 crore for the same period previous fiscal.
The company's net sales grew to Rs 679.79 crore for the year ended March 31m 2013 from Rs 562.67 crore for the corresponding period year ago.
In a separate filing to the stock exchange, the company said its Board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the financial year 2012-13.
Shares of Granules India today closed at Rs 112.25 per scrip on BSE, up steep 10.81 % from their previous close. PTI
