Plywood manufacturer Greenply Industries has reported a marginal decline of 1 per cent in its net profit at Rs 8.58 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.
Greenply had a net profit of Rs 8.67 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2008, the company said in a statement.
Net sales of the company grew 10.5 per cent to Rs 167 crore for the quarter ended March 2009, as against Rs 151 crore in the same period last fiscal.
The company's net profit for the year ended March 31, 2009, declined 3.6 per cent to Rs 37.3 crore as against Rs 38.7 crore previous fiscal.
Net sales of the company for the year ended March 31, 2009, increased 33.8 per cent to Rs 724.86 crore as compared to Rs 541.79 crore in the year-ago period.
