Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) today reported a decline of 16.84 per cent in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2010, at Rs 91.51 crore.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 110.05 crore in July-September quarter last year, GSPL said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The net sales of the company also fell to Rs 252.97 crore from Rs 254.76 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.
Shares of GSPL were trading at Rs 114.75, down 2.67 per cent from previous close on BSE.
