The deal will conclude in the next few weeks subject to certain condition precedents and regulatory approvals. SCS expects revenue of approximately $10 million for the financial year 2008.
SCS, headquartered at Pennsylvania (US), has relationships with leading service providers in the US, it added.
SCS offers, network deployment services including site acquisition and collocation, project management and telecom infrastructure management services. SCS has over 75 plus professionals well experienced in the network deployment and management methodologies.
The acquisition will also strengthen services with leading telecom sectors such as Nokia Siemens Networks and Ericsson. SCS has long-term relationships with leading service providers in North America including Verizon, Sprint/Nextel, Cricket Communications and Mactec among others.
In November, GTL has acquired a Malaysia-based network planning and optimisation company, ADA Cellworks, in an all-cash deal of $25 million (around Rs 100 crore). In October 2006, the company snapped up Genesis, an operational and maintenance company for $15 million.
