Network services player GTL Ltd saw its consolidated net profit come down by 35 per cent for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. It stood at Rs 43.01 crore as against Rs 65.76 crore a year ago. Net sales, on the other hand, was up 11.36 per cent to touch Rs 624.77 crore as against Rs 561.06 crore a year before.
On a standalone basis, GTL's net profit was up almost 59 per cent to touch Rs 158.36 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. It stood at Rs 99.77 crore a year before. Net sales was up 6.92 per cent to touch Rs 1551.32 crore this quarter as against Rs 1450.90 crore in the corresponding period a year before.
