GTL plans to merge 4 arms

 After the merger of Thermax Systems and Software, Fine Infotech, Global Internet Services and ThinkHarbor Consulting, the number of GTL firms will come down from 14 to 10.

 At least two of the four firms, which are being merged, were in the red last year, while Fine infotech posted a nominal net profit of Rs 7 lakh.

 ThinkHarbor Consulting made losses of Rs 37 lakh and Global internet made a loss of Rs 1 lakh. The figures for Thermax System and Software were not available.

 Besides these four, GTL also has two other wholly owned subsidiaries which will continue to operate.

 They are IGTL Mauritius, a holding company for all GTL
