GTL Q2 net up over 400% at Rs 45cr

Mumbai-based GTL today reported a 494% increase in net profit at Rs 45.43 crore for the second quarter ended September 2007 from Rs 7.64 crore in Q2FY07.

The net profit for Q2FY08 includes profit from sale of business of Rs 20.46 crore.

Total income for the reporting quarter rose to Rs 357.92 crore from Rs 145.56 crore in July-September 2006.
