Gujarat Ambuja Cements has posted a 62.7 per cent drop in its net profit at Rs 17.65 crore for the quarter ended September 30, against a net profit of Rs 47.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
This is despite a 27.6 per cent rise in sales at Rs 434.03 crore compared with Rs 340.08 crore in the corresponding previous period.
