The Gujarat Gas Company Ltd, a subsidiary of BG Group and India's largest gas distribution company, has reported a 88.2 per cent rise in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) in the first quarter of the current year at Rs 33.5 crore from Rs 17.8 crore recorded in the corresponding period last year. |
The consolidated income from operations increased 6.7 per cent to Rs 178.8 crore (Rs 167.6 crore), while the volume of gas sold rose 11.4 per cent to 195 mmscm (175 mmscm). The profit before depreciation, interest and tax has gone up in the current period to Rs 59.9 crore (Rs 34.6 crore. |
