Gujarat NRE enters e-commerce, buys SteelRX

Gujarat NRE Coke group, by diversifying into the e-commerce domain, has announced the acquisition of the Delhi-based steel and metals e-commerce company, SteelRX Corporation.

According to a release issued by Gujarat NRE to the BSE, the acquisition has enhanced its portfolio from manufacturing to information technology business.

The release said that SteelRX Corporation is one of the leading steel and metals portal, and was founded by Anurag Saraf of the Ferro Alloys Corporation (Facor) group in June 2000.
