G Indira Krishna Reddy, promoter-director of GVK Power & Infrastructure and wife of G V Krishna Reddy, who is the chairman and managing director of GVKPIL, has acquired 369 million equity shares of Rs 1 each from the latter by the way of gift.
As a result of the transaction, her stake in the company has gone up from 4.24 per cent to 27.61 per cent and GV Krishna Reddy's stake has gone down from 23.87 per cent to 0.5 per cent.
